Workshop

Surf Analysis & Personal Plan

Two days that will help you understand where you are and what your next step is

Many surfers train for years without knowing what's really holding them back. They try to fix everything at once, get different advice every session and never manage to build an orderly way of working.

In the surfing-level assessment workshop we stop, film, analyze and build a professional picture of your surfing. After the assessment we return to the water, work on the points we identified and check the change in real time.

The workshop is intended for beginner to intermediate surfers who want a clear understanding of their surfing level, to identify their strengths and the points that need improvement, and to leave with a focused plan for what comes next.

  • Two days
  • 8 hours of training
  • Accommodation & breakfast
  • Filming & video analysis

Day one

  1. 1

    Filmed surf session

We open with a two-hour surf session, during which each participant is filmed. The footage lets us see the surfing as it really happens: wave selection, positioning in the water, paddling, timing, pop-up, movement and decision-making.

  2. 2

    Video analysis and personal assessment

After the session we sit down together for an in-depth analysis of the footage. We identify each participant's surfing level, what's already working well and the points preventing them from progressing.

  3. 3

    Back to the water

In the second session we return to the water with clear goals. Instead of trying to improve everything, each surfer starts working in a focused way on the things that came up in the video analysis.

Day two

  1. 1

    First-light session

We open the day with a filmed morning session, aiming to keep applying the corrections and work on them in new surfing conditions.

  2. 2

    Breakfast and video analysis

After the session we return to the hotel for breakfast and to analyze the footage. We check what's changed, which corrections are starting to take hold and what still needs work.

  3. 3

Closing session and a plan for what's next

We head out for another session and end the weekend with a personal summary. Each participant gets a clear direction for what's next: what to focus on, what to practice and how to build their next surf sessions in a way that leads to progress.
